Just over the wire, er, and by "wire" I mean Twitter, there's an update on the "blindside hits" rule.
The NHLPA's Competition Committee, of which Mathieu is a part, has "deliberated and endorsed" the proposal from the league and have handed it over to the NHLPA Executive Board to vote on in the next 24-48 hours.
